We got another 19 big brown ones from our 19 Gold Comets today!!! That's 223 since Jan 1st. I am starting to notice the eggs are becoming more uniform in size and shape as the young pullets mature. The first six will be one year old this month. The others trail in two groups of six and seven by a couple of months each. I was surprised to read above that Shook's is now only selling started pullets. But you've got to have breeders in Pennsylvania and Louisiana where you can get the GC's. They're also known as Red Stars or Red Sex Links. I don't think you can find another type that will out lay them.
