I have three RIR hens, two are just now to the age of starting to lay. I got our first egg of the year td, laid it outside next to the feeder, not sure why. It is much larger than the XL eggs from the store. It looks like our year old hen laid it, she is a layer of massive eggs, even on the restrictive diet I give them. Shocked me speechless.

My girl Hilda is laying an egg everyday at 9:30am.. everyday for 9 days straight.

13 eggs today from my flock of 21, 6 cinnamon queen pullets, 3, golden laced pullets, 2 buff orpington pullets, 2 barred rock pullets. 1 delaware pullet. 2 red sex link pullets. and 5 birds 2yrs old they are 3 buff orps and 2 delaware.
