Yippee! Production is suddenly up! 20 out of 36 hens! Haven't had that many eggs in one day in about six months.



Many of mine are 3-4 years old, so that may have something to do with it.

Our pullets just started laying two days before Christmas, well at least one of them was. We've got 4 BO and 4 BR and they are now giving us about 4 eggs a day for 8 pullets. Thought that was pretty good since they probably are not all laying yet, and being in the winter!!

It's been so fun going to check their nesting box everyday!!!
