I noticed this week that the hens' faces were finally turning red again. The kid next door dug out the snow so I could get to the nest boxes this morning. Found 6 eggs, at least 3 different hens are laying as I had 3 colors. Will get a better idea on how many laying now that I can check the boxes daily.

I got 2 of em, and they're the sweetest hens, they asked to be picked up all the time

, I liked them so much I ordered 3 more chicks hopefully they'll lay dark eggs too.
