6 full size 1 Silkie here today 9 go to close human doors on coops tonight it started to rain took out house dogs went down hard coming in with them raining makes the little incline slick as snot I was mud from stem to stern.. bright spot BF took other two dogs then brought me another egg from the main coop 4 blue every day

3 yesterday. It's been slow here for a couple weeks. NNs and the blue crew are getting pink combs and wattles so by Spring I expect 4 more layers to start ramping up.

Was 3 below Fahrenheit at 5am, 7 above now. Songbirds are eating the suet. .
I opened the pop door at 9am. One hen popped her head out, and right back in. No one wants to go out, including me. I look out frequently and haven't seen a chicken in the run in days.

Got one from Yue today. Laid in the enclosed box with the heating pad (-13°F this AM) and appears to have a normally thick shell

One per day past idk two weeks.its been freezing tge water freezes by thirty mins i have to refill their water. I have three hens that used to lay regularly: my b.o my EE and my sexlink. Well, my ee is going through a weird molt right now. Idk whats going on with my bo she has not laid in well over ten days. I just get one a day from my reliable sex link..hopefully its just bc the freezing weather :/

Yeah, I feel for you and others that are wondering why no eggs.
All 5 of my 21 month old hens are laying. Not as much lately but improving since the winter solstice, only got 22 eggs that week.
All my hens are Golden Comets a red sex-links type of hen. GC

alive and kicking girls are up to like 6 a day

28 today. Sadly I found one of my original leghorn hens with a prolapsed vent.
She was a good girl lots of nice white eggs.
