22 yesterday and 22 Today, been pouring rain since 1pm. I’ve noticed tonight there was a big puddle in the run, that never was since I got 40’ of covered run.

I stay with chicken and keep them warm LOL. I trek up, am pretty agile, wife doesn’t take care of chicken at all from November to March so the chickens doesnt recognize her in spring time and they are afraid of her until we do introduction all over again

These are the boots I bought today also bought a new keyboard other one was so worn most the letters on the keys had worn out I have warm work boots they lace these are shorter and slip on

We have had a few before this in the last 2 weeks but I am pretty sure they were all from Julian the Australorpe. Today I found the green (from Rickie the EE) and a brown (from Bubbles the Buff Orpington) in the nest, then an hour later I saw Julian go in the coop and I checked and found a still warm one from her. So, now I know for sure that Bubbles is laying (wasn't sure if all the previous eggs were from Julian or some from Julian and some from Bubbles) and of course Rickie's pretty mint green one could only be from her. So 3 hens gave me 3 eggs today!

Plus, I have a hole or crack in the bottom of my muck boots and my socks get wet when I go out in all the rain!

Oh yuck - I went down to my disgusting run the other day (need to barrow down a few loads of wood chip and leaves!) - I borrowed hubbys crocs not realising they had a hole in them in the bottom until I wondered what the horribly slimy feeling on my sock was so gross!

Penny those shoes look really good - my work boots are Aussie elastic sided ones and it is so good being able to easily sliip them off!

Those do look warm and comfy. I like pull on boots, tall winter boots are pull on though my work boots are laced. Mostly I wear those in the summer when I'm cutting wood.
