How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

4 today, 6 yesterday but I had left the basket in the coop at "snack" time and when I went out after dark to close up it was on the ground. Luckily only 2 broken, not bad given it had fallen almost 6'. Must be one of the birds flew up to it and knocked the basket down.

Nine today. One, I think, was from yesterday though. I have a couple of escape artists. One was laying on the carport, in an empty, clean cat litter box.

Makes me puzzled as get out there are feathers on the floor but not enough for all them to be molting some are still not of age to lay discovered I have 2 extra cockerel in there will pull them tonight

4 from 4 today! Finally found the nest of my nest box protester....with 5 eggs in it!!

Any tips on getting her back in the boxes? They free range all day, head to the coop at night, but I leave the run open so my ducks can come and go as they please. I suspected that Tom the drake was bullying her when she was ready to lay is what started this whole mess. So I've been locking the ducks out, no more access to coop or run...and as soon as the box protester is let out...makes a bee line for her hidden nest I thought leaving them enclosed until later in the morning would get her back in the swing of things, but apparently she's just going to hold it until I let her out...help!!
