It actually works out well for me because I don’t have to bend down to check for eggs. Plus I have 2 nest box sleepers so I won’t have to rush out and clean...

A few of my birds just started laying on top of a bale of hay, about chest level to me. Makes it very easy to get the eggs so I’m just going to let them lay there if they want.
I got 10 today and two were on the bale.
