I hope your mom is ok Karen!No sign of her. I have to go with something got her.It's been a hectic weekend. My Mom is back in the hospital. So I went up there after getting off a 12 hour shift.
They don't know what is wrong with her but are concerned about low oxygen rates. I think she is just plumb worn out. I'm heading back up there in a little bit. I need to feed the chickens first.
I find it hard to get my customers back after winter break from the hens. Once they stop buying at the store we are back in business. It does get scary with a backup of eggs though.13 today. Neighbor kids came with my daughter to watch us put the birds up for the night. They were amazed by the green and pinkish eggs. I let them each pick two to take with them and sent another dozen with them, just because... -because we have 7 dozen and no buyers.I think everyone and their brother is selling eggs.
Everybody and their brother are posting eggs for sale around here. Competition is fierce, and I'm not pushy.
