How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

20 eggs today, well, I guess actually only 18 because I left 2 in the nest box yesterday for the broody hen(s). But I am not sure how committed she is/they are. One wan't any where around the nest box tonight and the other one hadn't been on too long I don't think because most of the eggs weren't even warm. So I brought all the eggs in tonight.

13 chicken & 3 duck eggs... couldn't find the guinea egg anywhere (she may not lay everyday)...

And one rooster... who really wants to be broody. But his big clumsy attempt to set on them cracks them. He broke 5

I'm averaging 10 a day out of 17 hens. Not bad considering some of my girls are approaching 4 to 5 years!

Got a load myself going on 6 hatching a few of my own under my silky so they can be replaced ... I have 10 moved three speckled sussex to the little coop with Smudge my marans cockerel

I got 12 out of 14 again today. My girls are getting their average up pretty well.

I got 3 out of 4 today. The smallest 47 grams from old Tezza, next was the little EE at 59 grams and the brown leghorn with 67 grams!
