I got 47 eggs today. My broody hen finally decided to come introduce her chicks to the flock. And believe me.... NOBODY came near her babies lol

I was just telling hubby how the chickens were slacking today !!! I usally get 15-25 eggs per day and only got 6 today

SLACKERS !!!!!

yesterday 14 from, the big girls 4 from silky did not collect for 2 days

I’ve got 9 now and I’ll have one more as soon as one of my EE’s gets her butt off the nest!

16 for today and I think yesterday was 18??? I do remember that 3 eggs were eaten in the nest boxes yesterday. No eaten eggs in nest boxes today! But my hubby did say that when he let the chickens out this morning that 1 hen went running about halfway across the yard and then an egg fell out of her and broke on the ground. So I guess that means there were really 17 eggs today.
