9 eggs today. Today is my 11 pullets 16 week birthday. More eggs pretty soon!

4 of 6. One went broody and the henhouse has been kinda crazy. That was about 2 weeks ago. Got 6 yesterday so I’m hopeful the broodiness is finally subsiding.

One nice leghorn egg today. 4 hens. The EE was in the nest box this morning and I thought that was good news until she pecked me! I think she’s experimenting with broodiness, she saw the Faverolles do it. A little while later I stuck my head in the door and she screeched.

I had 10 between but ticked off both coops now moved three point of lay EE to the big girls main coop they where in the little coop with Smudge and the girls but have 2 cochin growing up to go in there

44 eggs today and another hen trying to go broody

7 from 9!! And the Banty now has a habit of laying on the floor of the coop rather than the nesting box

Well , 6 eggs were laid today out of the 6 pullets , one softie broke in nest box , one thin shell flat bottom egg that broke picking it up and one nice brown egg that cracked due to butterfinger syndrome , so I ended up with 3 keeper eggs .
