7/19 today, slow day I guess .... and my broody hen broke an egg

I had 11 today plus 2 eggs from banty may be one more later.

We had 9 I lost 3 of my daily layers in that attack so it hurt many ways ... Our banty are all beggining to lay .. We came out with 4 there 3 are laying now frizzle lays blue/green we have a EE doing the blue now we have a cream egg possibly the silkie x polish.. The white silkie is the youngest.

Not sure if any of you are on the Egger Flock Story thread but if you notice it is out of 23 not 24…had to put my GLW down…her leg injury was not improving.

3/7 today. Big improvement for my third winter hens, trying to survive our cold Minnesota winter. A few weeks ago, I was lucky to get 1/7 eggs per day, and many, many 0/7 days in between. Things are looking better, but I am still planning on replacing the flock this spring with new chicks.

Lucky number seven again yesterday. Chickens were bored so they stayed in and laid eggs lol. They only came out briefly in the covered area. We got over 2 1/2 ft snow.

Today I got 10/13! I was pretty happy. I usually just get 7
