10 chicken eggs and 1 goose egg. Considering there were three green eggs from 5 Ameraucana, 2 cream eggs from 5 Dorkings, and 5 various shades of brown eggs from the other 8 or 10 flock members, it's not that bad.
There are only two geese, and they're in the middle of Goose Rut with the two ganders, so an egg every other day or so, with time off for random goose-ish reasons is about right.

Finally got a second egg yesterday. So I guess that means we now have two hens laying. Come on girls! Mama needs eggs!

I have none! 5 laying hens, but one is broody and the other taking care of chicks. The other 3 haven't layed. They may be hiding them, a while ago some layed their eggs in some brush and then next to a tree stump.

The inside of the cracks were dirty, so I tossed them. Plus one was frozen really bad.

This morning I got a tiny egg! Like small. Rest have been what I would say we're medium. I guess this is from the new layer and she's just getting cranked up. Sadly, it was also cracked so I brought it in and cooked it up and fed it back to them along with the crushed shell. They loved it! I also stopped at the local bait store and got a tub of worms which they enjoyed fighting over! Just trying to provide as much protein as I can for them in hops it will prompt the others to start laying.

Funny thing happened. My little dog went in the run with me as she sometimes does. When I was throwing out the egg, she thought she could have some too. She got a thorough flogging from Roo! Guess she learned that chicken food is for the chickens only!
