How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

A flat yesterday, plus 7 duck eggs. Going out to gather this AM's offerings. The ducks have built themselves , essentially, a palisade out of the thorny native blackberry brambles I've been feeding the goats as i clean up the property. The goats eat all the leaves, leave the thorny sticks. The ducks went right into the middle, made themselves a cozy hollow, and began depositing eggs.

If they weren't so tasty, I wouldn't go in after them...

I got 7 chicken eggs out of 13 hens yesterday. And this morning I got 4 duck eggs out of 4 ducks!

Must have been the RSL’s egg she ate, got a pretty speckled egg from the RIR and a d’Uccle egg to finish out the day.
