I have been getting 5/5 for 2 weeks straight im really shocked.

I got a first egg from a spring pullet, it was very long and thin(I should have snapped a picture) and when we cracked it open for dinner tonight it was actually a double yolker but the yolks were tiny!! It was so cute. DH laughed at me for being eggcited about it, he thinks after 5 years of chickens I’d have gotten over them; he is wrong.

The molt is strong! 4 eggs from 15 layers yesterday. I might get one today. About 2:30 I had zero with one chicken in the nest.
