Three eggs today, from Goldy, Buffy, and Crystal. Sassy finally took a day off after laying 16 straight days. Also had another softshell egg on one of the roost this morning. Chicken cam showed it was laid late last night, most likely by Hazel. If so I suspect it is her second softshell in the middle of the night. Hopefully she lays a "normal" egg soon.

only 1 egg a day. Is it unusual for a newly laying pullet to lay two days in a row then nothing for 3 days? today will be day 4 since her last egg. breed is bielefelder. physically she is fine.

I got FIVE today! All the ISAs are now laying. A few of the "mystery colored egg layers" seem extremely close. Dottie spent hours today going in and out of the nest boxes, practicing egg song, "complaining" non-stop, etc.
