I spent time in the coop putting more straw and putting extra feed, temp is going to be 17 degrees they should be ok with the extra 4 in. of straw

Lost count but think today it was 5, I have a stash of eggs from the past week. I dropped poor buttercup’s the other day - ooops! The chickens enjoyed it with their morning mash.

Just 3 here today. It has been VERY windy here and they have been rather vocal about it. I can't blame them for not liking that wind and noise.

9 of 9, not counting my SF. She’s doing an amazing job sitting on my Legbar crosses! Gets up to eat and preen, & then right back to her spot, growling at everyone!

35 From the Delaware Gang and 36 from the Rhode Island Gang and 6 from a gang of 7 adult Cornish Cross Ladies. The smallest Cornish Cross egg was a large and the largest was a Jumbo + double yolker! It looks like I need to build some customized nest boxes for those pleasantly plump ladies.
