How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Thank you so much. They do, but she hasn’t been touching it. I put out a new red container of it to hopefully draw her over, and a calcium citrate to help boost her levels in the meantime.
Sometimes my ladies will stop eating their oyster shell. When they do, I'll usually sprinkle a little bit of scratch over the top of the oyster shell to tempt them. It seems to work pretty good. :)

That's sort of what I do. I mix either crushed eggshells or oyster shell (about 1/4 cup) with scratch grains in an old peanut butter jar and give that to them most evenings before they hit the roosting bar for the night.

They seem to really like the eggshells. Not so much the reconstituted oyster shell/coral chunks. Wish I could find real, honest to goodness crushed oyster shells.

Awesome ideas, thank you!

i found a large 50 lb bag of them at our local co-op (Canada) because mine didn't like the "fake" chunks either (that's just how they seem to me) I took someone's advice and serve back all my eggshells crushed, and now they seldom eat the real crushed oystershells - just eggshells!

I feed them back their crushed eggshells. Whenever we have shrimp, I will bake the shells until they are crispy and crush those. I mix the eggshells, shrimp shells, and oyster shells together, then add a bit to their food. I used to feed it separately, but they seem to think it's great fun to flick it out all over the place and hardly eat any that way. :barnie🙄🤣
