Three again today! Août has laid consistently for 15 days now, and I’m starting to wonder what the healthy limit is for consistent laying. This is probably fine for new layers, right?

My Golden Comet laid 44 days in a row when she first started. Only took 1 day off when it dropped into the teens.Three again today! Same! It’s hard to know what it’s like to lay an egg everyday for months, but I can’t imagine it’s pleasant! Then again, eating worms and taking dust baths doesn’t sound good to me either, so maybe I shouldn’t judge!I totally understand the feeling of wanting them to take a break.
