I haven't had online indulgence time for a few days so I'll catch up. From my 8 pullets, 4 eggs Friday, 3 on Saturday, 5 today. Martha's blue and the 2 Eggers' greens leading the pack, as usual, plus nice big browns from some of the other girls (who chose to be anonymous).

One of the dogs knocked over my egg-collecting container yesterday and cracked an egg, so the chooks got it on top of their wet mash. Feeding frenzy!!! They certainly deserve it. I have about 4 dozen eggs stockpiled, even after giving my daughter a dozen Friday. Time for more deviled eggs, omelets, custards and quiches...yummm. Love having pets with benefits!

Wow, MommyGirl, what a beautiful clutch! And all so clean...I'm a bit envious!

With all our rain, the girls manage to leave muddy footprints on their eggs even after trooping in from their yard through all the dry bedding in the coop on their way to the nestboxes.
