How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Day umpteen still no eggs. I've increased food to unlimited feed. 16-18% layer feed plus corn mixed in. I give veggie scraps too when I have them. I even let them forage in my yard yesterday. Idk what to do lol
Sorry you're not getting eggs. How old are your birds? Have they molted lately? Good that you're giving them unlimited food access. Mine have always had unlimited access to food.

Feed them only the layer feed for the next couple weeks and see what happens. No corn, no veggie scraps. A little foraging would be ok because that gives them some exercise, mental stimulation and quality food. If you have oyster shells or eggshells to give them on the side, all the better.

I'm not sure how old the hens I was given. My hens are around 8 or 10 months old. They all have full feathers and fluffy. No missing or feather plucking. Healthy. No runny eyes or coughs not a thing wrong. I assume it's the move as I've been told. I can't remove the corn bc I've mixed it hahaba

It sounds like they're healthy then. Since they came into laying age in the winter when days are short, it's possible they might not start laying until the daylight is longer this spring.

How much corn is mixed into the feed? Layer feed has the minimum nutrition needed for chickens to lay eggs. Adding corn dilutes the nutrient content of their feed which could be a reason for them not laying or starting later than they should.

Do you have any pictures of your chickens you could post here?
