Good luck with your luffas! My chickens love gourds, though I’ve only grown them the culinary varieties. They will even eat the leaves even after they’ve blackened and dried up post-frost.9 today.
The weather was finally warm enough to set the luffa out. I had an inquisitive crowd watching when I was planting them in the fabric pots close to the coop. The general idea is to have them climb up the side. We'll see. They're spares though as I have two more for the raised beds. The squash go out tomorrow.
