8 button quail & 1 coturnix quail. Max possible would be somewhere around 10 button quail & 3 coturnix. However, one coturnix rarely lays an egg.

I'll probably have another coturnix egg before bedtime. Maybe more buttons, too. They lay at weird times of day. (My coturnix often lay as late as 11 or 12 at night).

Edited to add one more egg! I think one or two of the button quail eggs may have been from yesterday.

I'm having so much fun with my hens~they are a great bunch of girls.

I got my first "dozen" today from 23 hens.

Actually saw one being laid~which I know...
I know...but truly enjoying having chickens!!!
