I used to get one egg each day. (If I were lucky) But I started turning on the coop light for a few hours and got an egg a day from each one. At my age it wont suprise anyone when I say I forgot to turn it off for two days in a row. Of my four laying hens, I am getting 8 eggs everyday.

I haven't had any eggs since they started molting in November. There are about 40 hens out there of laying age and 6 roosters that we have been feeding for the last 3 months with no eggs. ZERO!! Today when I fed, I did what I always do, check all the nest boxes

12 eggs this morning!!

Maybe now we will start to get some good eggs again. Two of the eggs were from my F2 Olive Eggers

Today I got 0/0 I had no eggs since Sept of last year from 23 hens. I sold them all and I waiting for my Orpingtons to start laying in May or June.
