3/12 today Got 5 yesterday.

Red took the day off it seems.

Two brown from the NH reads, 1 blue from the EE.
Now Betty White and the BOs Goldie and Lox need to participate
They are each only 1 1/2 oz and seem to be laid at misc times but I lo e it

5 from 12 today!!! I've heard that AL's take longer to begin laying. I don't know anything about them, but I still have 7 that aren't laying

I don't get the full count till I lock them up at 8pm. But as I only have 4 hens laying right now.....I only go by weekly totals. Last week was 13 from the 4 hens.

Yesterday, Sunday, was 2/2 again.

Regarding when they start laying, that seems to vary.
of the 3 that lived to lay eggs, Red started first. Was another month or so till Goldie started.
Then the black another month or so. Only have red and Goldie now.
I can tell which hen laid which.
Reds are smaller than Goldies, and a tad darker, plus more elongated.
Both take days off. I read that it is a cycle, they lay 4 days or so, then take a day off.
And it looks like mine vary that as well...

6/12 today!!! yesterday i got 5 I also have one that hasnt figured out the nest box thing yet. :/ She lays her egg on the floor, but she just started laying.

I got 7/7 today! Been down to 5 most days recently, i had one mama with 5 week old chicks who has just come back to lay, and a broken broody. Welcome back girls!
