How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

About a week ago, I got 8 eggs from 6 chickens, and a small wind egg to boot! Alas, I had to cull one of the hens so I'm down to just five, but they are averaging 4 eggs a day right now...my neighbors look at me the way they do when someone plants zucchini in the garden

Just 2 today from 3 hens.
I just went to close up the hen house and found 1 more egg in the nest box, so that makes 3 from 3 for today.

Only 4/7 yesterday and 3/8 today. I sort of hoped the new girl had an egg in the track on the way home last night.

7 eggs from 17 of our hens. Not sure if this is normal for young layers? Figured we'd have more by now.
