Oh, no!  I'm so sorry!!!

Thank you. She had obviously been starving herself as she was super skinny when I brought her inside this morning (she was acting very weak). Mid afternoon I went to check on her and knew she didn't have long. I wrapped her in a towel and held her until she passed. Not sure why she stopped eating, there were no obvious problems (worms, mites, bullying, etc)

That's sad; it's worse when you don't know why. Maybe you could do a ... necropsy (I'm sure I've messed that up, a bird autopsy), anyway. If you're able to (I know some ppl wouldn't be able to do that if it's a pet who died), but if you need to know b/c it might be something that could be contagious, then you might do it or get someone else to.
