I think my RIR started to lay, because one egg is a more brown than the others I've always gotten.

2/8 so far with two sitting when I went out, Now got a full dozen to incubate, going to try and get a dozen more before Friday outta the girls.. Woohooo Loving it that they are laying more consistently!

When we had our dog he loved the broken or cracked ones, would sit outside waiting...lol.. He was an egg sucking dog that's for sure

I'm not sure at all what happened, my kids were doing chores before school and my daughter found the hen laying in the coop just like she was asleep. They haven't been acting sick or anything! My daughters a pretty tuff 9 year old to go through finding her girls like that.
