Today I got all five eggs from 5 hens. + 1 Have you ever seen an Egg with no shell come from a chicken late in the day after already laying a perfect egg in the morning? Is their something wrong?

9 eggs two days in a row. It is a new record! I'm not sure how many hens I have laying (maybe 12) but I've never had more than 8 in one day. So exciting!

Since this is now Saturday, I got 5 eggs yesterday. I couldn't believe it. I have been getting one or 2 or none a day. I seem to have a pullet trying to lay, one egg with no shell about a week ago and Friday an egg that my fingers went through when I picked it up.

Friday: 8 eggs from 2 hens
Saturday: 4 eggs so far, but I still have hens on the nest box, so I'm sure I'll get more.
I've gotten 3 more so far, so I am up to 7 today from 12 hens.

2 cartons of 12 and 1 carton of 18 egg's .....
