9 from 13. Yep, 13 hens. I got a first pullet egg today! It is the first egg from the chicks I hatched at the beginning of May! They are just turning 21 weeks old, I wasn't expecting any for a few more weeks!

1/2 layers. My production red hasn't laid since i got rid of the rooster a few weeks ago. I know a rooster's not physically necessary for a hen to lay but what about emotionally? Could she be on strike because I got rid of get boyfriend?

Still have about eight weeks before my pullets start laying.

9 again today from 13 or 14 layers. Not sure how many as I got another pullet egg, so I don't know if 1 pullet laid 2 days in a row or if it is 2 different pullets.

2/3 !!! We're doing better I suspect it'll be awhile until the last of my BR's lays as she appears to be farther behind in maturity than her sisters.
