How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

13 eggs today, unfortunately 2 were already eaten. I don't usually have a problem with that. Both were laid on the floor of the coop and were pullet eggs. I'm wondering if they got broken & then were eaten. Hopefully I don't have an egg eater developing.

Only 16 today out of our 22 ladies. We did peak at 100% (22 egg a day) for several days running but the days are getting shorter and we don't do supplemental lighting so output is dropping. That and we now have a broody Columbian Wyandotte...her second time in a couple of months. Might just have to get her some fertilized eggs and let her hatch them.

4 Chicken egg's today but I also found two nest under the shed so I should be having some new chicks by November ......

Only getting about 2-3 a day out of 8...they've started their molting

Still in the mid 90's with light winds so it is just nice being outside ......

4/4 and I was witness to the newest as I heard it drop as I approached the nest box this morning

I now have laying:

2 Isa Brown
1 Sebright
1 Barred Rock

"Where did that come from?"

Now, it's getting eggciting!
