Still waiting.. had to kick the chickens out of the coop for a cleaning before it gets colder then it is! I went back to check 15 minutes after I was done, one was squatting on top of the nest boxes and one in a nest box. Maybe today is the day where I get 2 for the first time??

11 out of 24 that are laying age. Make that 25 that are laying age, got one that just started laying about 4 days ago and has already laid 3 eggs.

Hey guys egg count today 18/23, we got down to -6 last night, coop stayed pretty warm it was 3 in there this am. No frozen water with the heated water bowl overnight outside in the run...not bad.

2 eggs, and 2 brown, oval ice cubes. <sigh> Guess who was too busy doctoring Scout to get out there and check for eggs today.
