I got to see which one of my Cream Legbar's lays the bluest bluest prettiest egg I get today thanks to my coop cam. I saw her come out of the one of the nesting boxes singing the egg song (cam has sound). So I ran out in time to see her go into the run and get a bite to eat (mash in a heated bowl) before heading out to the yard. I went in the coop and found the blue egg, super warm and in the box she came out of. I've had trouble figuring out which Cream Legbar lays this particular egg because they molted and she looks totally different now. They were super ratty with bald backs and necks and missing lots of feathers before molt, I had never seen them totally feathered out because the lady I got them from thought you needed a rooster for every hen. She had 5 hens and 5 roosters...bless her heart. Those roosters wore the feathers off of the poor hens!! They looked so bad that she gave just them to me, she had got them from Green Fire farms.
Here she is with her pretty egg, I am a proud mama. She is the one in the back, the easter egger in the front is photo bombing. I love this CLB's tail feathers, this picture doesn't show how pretty it is, her tails feathers are curled:

Here's another one of my Cream legbars, I love a good mullet! I've had these girls since March and am finally seeing what they really look like...so exciting!
