I have 10 hens, 5 Ameraucana, and 5 Brahma girls, got them as day olds June 9th 2014. It is January here in Canada and we have - 20 temps most of the time with lots of snow. We are averaging 6 eggs a day. Is this normal?

I think that's great! Givin the temp and lack of light! Nice job girls! I'm getting about 5 a day out of 13...some havent started to lay tho

23 out of 39 Best number yet! I think my EEs and bantams are on the same laying schedule lately. (Every other day) 6 EE/OE and 5 bantam eggs





Speaking of EEs and bantams...anyone have EE bantams? If so, would you recommend them?
