I'm not sure about eggs today. Mommy brought her two babies out but all the others are still in the coop. There is a nest box but most of the ladies lay in other nests outside of the coop. They may come out later. I guess I'll find out. It is 15° and 5 or 6" of snow. Not much compared to some but pretty rough for us....the temps not the snow.

11/20/22 yesterday.

Stopped by Tractor Supply yesterday and they had all the brooders and chick supplies set up. Was told the first chicks are coming in Monday the 23rd.

I know, I stocked up when I saw the sign so I can at least miss the first shipment.

LOL - glad I'm not the only one. I know I can hold out at least until March 17 as I will be flying out to Oregon the 8-16, so would not be fair to pick up any chicks and leave them for DH and DS to take care of - but after that, I make NO promises, lol, especially considering I will probably need to make a feed run fairly soon after I get back.
