How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

3 out of 8 hens. Yesterday was 6. But my two Easter eggers have went on strike or something. Nothing for a month from them. Hmmmm

Everyone, meet Kendrain, she is driving 60 miles to buy roughly half my hens tomorrow! I found a good buyer, and chicken owner!!! Thank you!

Soon you will be drowning in eggs instead of me! I'll bet you are going to be able to get them sold at your business maybe?

I hope you stay on BYC's it's a great forum, and I'll get to read how my girls are doing!

P.S. I'm boiling 8 more dozen eggs to feed back to the chickens, and my husband actually is selling 8 dozen to some friends today!!! My fridge is empty of eggs (for a second), but I can here the girls outside Ba bawking away and laying more eggs as I type type this!

My 2 Easter Bar pullets are squatting for the rooster, and walking around checking out the nesting boxes and squawking pitifully! I think we will be seeing 2 more blue pullet eggs shortly.

I have a new layer today! A sussex, I think. Sadly, the eggs were all frozen, I didn't get out there fast enough, no energy with these temps fluctuating so dang much. Cozying under a blanket as I type.

Yep, more blue eggs, those pullets sound pitiful and desperate the way they are carrying on!!!!

Still cold????????? Sigh....it needs to warm up, you need eggs that aren't frozen!!!!

Still trying to figure out how to navigate the site. Quite frankly I'm tickled pink to find so many people on here who understand my OCD. And am super stoked to get my new girls. I have a few people who are willing to buy eggs and I love giving them to my family as little "gifts". But am always open to a good barter too. Lol
