How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

WOOOOO HOOOOO!! We got 24 from 43 today! Up from 17 just three days ago. Everybody went on stike just before Christmas. Even one of the banties laid one today.

I know they usually slow down in winter, but this has been going on since June!

I keep it light, I keep it dark, nothing helps sob, sob.

With easter coming up I don't know whether to have easter eggs or chicken pot pie!

3-4 a day from 7 hens for the last 2 weeks

well let's see all this week I have getting 2 doz per day from 35 hens. Today I got 30 eggs and we just had a severe ice storm that still has us with ice on the ground. whatever it is they are doing great, so I am tickled to death, now if I just had more room in the fridge,LOL LOL.

I have 34 and 14-17 a day. How did you get them all laying?

We got 7 eggs, which is a record for us. We have 20 hens, most of which are about 7 months old and just starting to lay, finally.

1 eggs from 12 laying hens...maybe molting?

9 eggs but 1 was a softy so the dog got it

10 eggs 11 hens - all from either March 08 or Aug 08 hatches. Adding about 4 hours of light each morning to total about 12-13 hours of light per day. Before the light I was lucky to get 2 or 3/day.
