9/22 Best day yet. Older gals are just coming out of molt and young girls are just starting to lay. Better days ahead (I hope)!

The control group has lights that go on from 6 AM and go off at 8 AM and go back on from 6 PM till 9 PM I am sure this has something to do with the much better egg count .....





0 eggs from the free range chickens

Temp 103 F degrees

4 eggs from 8 hens. This seems to be the norm this year. 3 year old hens. Last two years they were doing 7-9 eggs a day.
