8 today, which included 1 shell-less egg & 1 very soft shelled egg. Also I have 2 hatched out of 10 so far & I'm only on day 20

I had a neighbor over this afternoon and she brought her 6 year old boy so I got him to go under the shed the chickens like to hide under and he brought out a garbage bag full of older eggs and he also messed up the nest the chickens had made

Wow! a garbage bag full. I think you need to have a talk to those chickens of yours! Remind them of the spirit of gratitude & how they should be grateful for all that you do for them and the PROPER WAY TO SHOW THAT GRATITUDE IS TO LAY EGGS IN THE PROPER PLACE, where you can get to them! I'm sure that will straighten them out. : ) LOL
So far 4 out of 5 blue eggs have hatched and 1 out of 4 green eggs. 1 of the green eggs currently has a pip. I expect the rest to start sometime today or tomorrow.
Our rain, just now turned into snow. Yippee! The first snow of the season : ) Don't tell my hubby I'm excited, he hates the snow.

The easter eggers(4) are molting and haven't got an egg in 2 weeks from them.

This is summer time amount.

2/2... I came out side for a second and heard one of the girls (Henrietta) BAK bak bak bak BAK bak bak bak. She was so loud I though something was wrong for a minute... nope 2 eggs in the nest and she was announcing her pride... very cute

But will someone come tell marshall and Betty to get off they butt and start making eggs already?
