5/7 today. I do believe they are over the big coop move and the new roommates.

collected 7 eggs today, 6 of which were from today. I believe my Black Penedesenca is laying everyday. Still waiting for the second one to start.

3 eggs from the control group

1 egg from the free range chickens

58F degrees and cloudy most of the day and then it started raining at 5 PM but after 2 hours it stopped raining and in 30 minutes the ground had dried out

Counted the geese before locking all the gates for the night and only came up with 10 so I went out and found momma who is 12 years old and is getting to where she cant or wont slide under the fences anymore so she was way out at the other end of the property and the flock hadn't been there since noon so she was lonely but I got her back into the front yard and wow what noise she made I think she was chewing feathers for being left behind

We had our first 5 egg day, we have 2 older RIR's 10younger RIR's, 4 Buff Orpingtons, and 5 White Plymouth Rocks. It's time for the younger girls to start laying. We had 3 smaller and obviously new laid eggs today. Soon will have more than we can deal with.
