How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Quote: Do you know how to blow an egg? Prick a hole in each end, stir up the insides with a toothpick, hold the egg gently but firm enough that you can press your lips against and blow.
After removing some of the contents, inject in some food coloring, and place it in the nest.
If someone is eating eggs, you'll certainly know which one it is because of the dyed beak.
Then take it from there.

7 of 9! It's been cold and wet all day .... freezing rain/fog ....... I have been giving them high protien treats (ham, left over enchilada) the last two days ...... free will 16% layer pellets that they really don't like ..... very little scratch.

I thought you were going to say to fill the shell with a plaster of paris mixture. I couldn't figure out why you were leaving in part of the egg yolk. Then I read the rest of the way & figured out what you were doing. Very clever. I hadn't heard of that method before.

7 eggs today from 20 layers.
