I have noticed that when it is cold/rainy they stay in the coop and they are not out in the sun and egg production goes down the next day.
Friday 4/6 ...42 f
Saturday 6/6 ....10 f

Sunday-Tuesday each day 2/6 ...10 f
Wednesday 2/6 ... 23 f

edit to add these were the days highs and they stay inside when it is below 14

only 6 of 16 today, with the changes I think it is understandable the 6 came from my Barred rocks I have 5 of my original group so someone else probably one of my Rhode Island reds.

4/4. Girls not slowing down with the weather

No eggs yet today, I got 3 yesterday so maybe only 1 today. Black betty is starting to get some color,so hopefully I'll have 4 laying soon and the 2 younger ones are about 17-19 weeks now and starting to get their combs in finally. Hopefully by the end of February I'll have all 6 girls laying
