How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

7 chicken eggs but then i broke one so 6 and a single duck egg as normal(have 4 ducks but 3 are still freeloaders right now)

8/14 so far today. Cold and lots of snow but the girls are starting to venture out into the snowy parts of the run.

I am up to 10/14 but brahmas have not figured out lay eggs in the morning nor are they all 14 in nesting boxes they all seem to use only 2 of 7 out there so there are the yard or under a table or where I walk. Any thoughts here about covering their run a roof? the rain makes the shavings all wet then they are out digging in the wet. I really cant free range because of our dogs.

Ok... I think moving the girls to the new house has them mixed up.... I found 2 this morning which I guess was from the night and this now I found 5 in the next box... Ok cool... Until I started to walk out and spotted one under the roost bar... Ok... 7... Great haul... Wait!!!! 2 MORE hidden under the other bar! 10/16/17 today.

8 out of 17...last time I got that many was the first week of December. I've been averaging between 2-5.

Beautiful day, let them free Range for hours, what did I get, 1 for 3. Only my leghorn delivered. Sad.

I found an eg when I put up the chickens at dusk! Not from the group with the light, but from the two rirs and the Cornish X. Not sure which layed, but I hope this means the days are getting long enough for them to lay without lights!

10/14 Another one went molting, joined the 3 molters and the rest of winter breakers. One black French Marans sporadically layed one egg.
