and my son got 13 chicks today to split with his cousin!!

3/5 One was in the run. They must have been playing eggball. It is super bowl weekend.

3/3 and all laid together in the same nesting box (they always use just the one) first thing in the morning (they are usually late layers)

I am going to get some NEEM oil and see if that does the trick with the lice. Tried to pick some up last night but the store had already closed. I have also been putting garlic powder on their food (supposedly it makes them taste yucky to the lice). I figured it can't hurt to try.

No egg counts for a while. Terra Vet being used, have 2 that sound raspy breathing, so trying to nip whatever it is in the bud.Started them on it after the older hen died and I could spend a bit of time with them after class. 2 raspy, 3 with watery poo. It's helping already that I have seen. They perked up too, like on espresso again.
