Temp 110F degrees and no breeze all day

8 eggs, 7 of which came from 1 coop, 0 from the largest coop, where now another hen is acting like she wants to go broody; and 1 egg from the smallest coop.

I really do not go out when it is that hot for very long as I will wind up taking a nap shortly after word and I did not check the temp till around 4:30 PM but I did get a lot lf house work accomplished .

I thought all my hens 5 barred at 16 months old where going into
molt now getting my normal 4 to 5 a day again still seeing feathers but
have several young pullets might start in the next month now.

So far 3/13 but it is HOT and they are panting. I have a silkie hen going broody in the other coop so I will probably let her do her thing.

actually that part I am aware of as all mine before had been raised hatchery pullets

Temp today 116F degrees with a little breeze in the evening to cool it off to a cool 110F degrees

No losses due to heat

But a lot of water was used to cool off the ground and animals
