Hey everyone I'm knew to this whole chicken thing. I have two chickens both double sexed links and both 14wks old. They started laying last week! First day they both laid one second day the same but since day 4 I've only been getting one egg a day. I have them on the right food and supplement (per my feed store lady). It's been 95 and over almost everyday since last week. Not sure if that's why. Any ideas? Should I be worried? I've read up on Brody chickens and neither one of them is acting that way.

I got 8 eggs today from my 19 layers. Thank goodness I have 8 more that will be laying anytime in the next few weeks or so.
Has anyone else been having a decrease in eggs? Maybe its the heat I don't really know. Its been in the low to mid 90s here. But they have plenty of fresh cool water and lots of shade, they do not appear to be too hot to me. I just do not know any reason that I have been getting only 8- 10 eggs a day in the past week or so. I do have one that is not laying as she just hatched chicks, so she is busy raising them.
