No eggs count, getting my brooder ready. Let my lil trio out yesterday for a bit. Lil guy is so funny, thinks he is big bad boss.

Temp 117F degrees

@karenerwin , No candidates as of yet but I have several of his off spring of proper age but the problem with them is DNA relations with the of age hens so it looks like I did not properly get a non related roo but I should be ready in a year or earlier .

The shame of it was Buddy was such a friendly roo with great temperament towards his ladys and others he will be missed dearly .

The culprit has of yet has not been identified or the manner in which it entered the coop but the ladys have been moved and are now members of the free range chickens .

1/15 - Easter Egger egg is normal size today for the very first time after over a week of laying.

Hatch is going on, grabbed eggs and brought them in. One hatched, one trying to pip. Whoop whoop!

9/13 and I dropped one and 0/2 today.

4/5 had to move part of the nesting boxes to make room for chicken door to the new run
