Zero eggs yesterday...granted I only have two laying barred rock hens at the moment (my two BO pullets are only 13 weeks old), but they generally lay very reliably and only take one or two days off a week (and not at the same time)...I think they may be getting ready to or have already begun to molt. Will be glad when I have four laying birds in a couple of months!

I'm no expert as I am fairly new to chickens, but I think they MUST have meant 9 week old, not 9 months.

which looks similar to what I can see in that picture.

You can post on the pullet/breed thread and @junebuggenashould be able to give you a more accurate age.
