How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

10 eggs out of 20 pullets. they are 21 weeks old and I don't think they are all laying yet. I am hoping to expect an average of 15 a day when they do. is that reasonable?
I think that reasonable. Thats great youre getting 10!! I thought id be getting over 5 a day by now. I'm getting 2 of 15 pullets now, will be 19 layers by later fall. I'm guessing we'll get 15-18 a day. (Planned on 20 pullets too but 1 decided to crow & 18eggs a day).

out of my 20 hens and 4 big female pekins, I got 18 chicken eggs and 1 duck egg!!!!!! MOST I have gotten yet

Mamatink, your in OH right? You might able to command $4/dozen, depends on your market there. I charge that much here, can't keep up w/ demand and I don't sort them by size at all. Makes it more of a backyard type than farm eggs. Everyone claims of farm fresh, I tell my friends & coworkers its backyard fresh ( they are well taken care of and was given close attention individually). Some charges $2.50 here, including some co workers. I normally point to them first but if they want my eggs it's $4, which we have 8 regular customers.

yes! We are. I've been thinking 4$, as costs and care to the girls. Plus I'm going to put a site together where customers can 'see' the chickens. 2.50 eggs are around too but I've seen the care of those birds and nothing compared to what we do:/
Thank you
